What is Sodium Bisulphite?
Sodium Bisulphite, also called Sodium Hydrogen Sulphite, is the monosodium salt of Sulfuric Acid. The solution to this is a colourless to yellow liquid that is easily mixable with water. Sodium bisulphite is more commonly used in the food industry as a food additive (E222). In addition, it is also used as a decolorizing agent in specific purification reactions.
