What is Tetrahydrofuran?
Tetrahydrofuran (THF), also called Oxolaan, is a cyclic ether. It is a colourless, flammable liquid with a low viscosity, which ensures that it is easily miscible with water. Among other things, it is used as a solvent for polar compounds, such as PVC, adhesives and not yet cured lacquers.
