Applications
Butyldiglycol (BDG) is a colourless liquid and is 100% soluble in water. It is mainly used as a solvent in producing a wide range of household and industrial cleaners. It is also a primary solvent in (screen printing) inks for, among other things, the dyeing and printing of textiles and (latex) coatings and adhesives. Furthermore, Butyldiglycol has its application in producing oils, soaps, polymers and softeners.
