Gluconic acid is a solid crystallinity substance without any sense, which resolves well in water. It is a Carboxylic acid which is naturally present in honey and wine. Gluconic acid is biodegradable and is not poisonous.
Gluconic acid has several applications in the food industry, medicine, cosmetics and other sectors. This acid is a food additive (E574) in alcoholic drinks and pudding powder. In medical science, it is used to mend the shortage of trace elements and as a substance against the pollutant of heavy metals.
