What is Oxalic Acid Dihydrate?
Oxalic acid also called acidic or ethanedioic acid, is a dicarboxylic acid. The anhydrous substance is a white, crystalline powder which is moderately soluble in water. Oxalic Acid Dihydrate (Oxalic Acid-2-Hydrate) is colourless. Oxalic acid occurs naturally in various plants. Oxalic acid is used in household products and anti-rust agents. In addition, it is used as a pesticide against the varroa mite. Oxalic acid also has applications in analytical chemistry and clinical chemistry.
