What is Sodium Silicate?
Water glass, Sodium silicate, natrial metasilicate and water glass are different names for the molecular formula Na2SiO3. Natron water glass is a soluble salt of Silicic acid (weak acid derived from Silicon Dioxide SiO2). Natron water glass is a hygroscopic (water-attracting) colourless to white solid, which ViVoChem supplies as a solution. Natron water glass has a variety of applications. For example, it is used as an ingredient in cleaning products and as an addition to poster glue. Another application is waterproofing floors, walls, walls and ceramic flower vases. Sodium silicate is also a means to preserve fresh eggs.
