Zinc stearate is a white, odourless powder used as an additive in various industrial applications. It consists of zinc salts of stearic acid and has multiple properties such as lubrication, water repellency and stability. Zinc stearate is used in plastics, coatings, paints, rubber and cosmetics. In addition, it is also used as a stabilizer in PVC and as a separating agent in rubber production.
